Non-Caltech affiliated researchers with scheduled appointments will find information about visiting the Archives and the Caltech campus below. Additional information may be obtained from our Information for Visitors (1 page PDF, 108KB). The Archives will on request provide information on housing possibilities on campus and in the Pasadena area, but no endorsements or guarantees are intended for any accommodations.
The Archives' Reading Room Regulations (1 page PDF, 92KB) may be reviewed here prior to visiting.
Caltech-affiliated visitors are encouraged to call ahead to schedule a visit to the Archives.

Archives Reading Room Hours:
Monday through Friday
8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
We are closed on weekends and major U.S. holidays.

Parking
Self-serve paid visitor parking is usually available on campus in Lots 12 and 13 just to the north of the campus, at the corner of Wilson and Del Mar (Pay Station in Lot 12).

Visitor permits may be purchased at the following rates:
| 1 hour permit: $2 |
3 hour permit: $4 |
All day permit: $6 |
| 2 hour permit: $3 |
4 hour permit: $5 |
Weekly permit: $18 |
Parking permits must be displayed in vehicles parked on campus between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Visitors should park in lots coded for commuter parking only. Some restricted parking is available on adjacent streets.
