Documents of the Drever-LIGO Controversy
The Drever-LIGO controversy arose as the result of disagreements between Professors Ronald Drever and Rochus Vogt during one phase of the LIGO project (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory) in 1992-93. Several groups and committees participated in the resolution of this conflict. These files were deposited in the Archives by Steven Koonin, provost, and Professor Mary Lidstrom, vice chairman of the faculty. CLOSED except to designated members of the faculty until May 1, 2018.
