EMORY L. ELLIS, 1906-pres. Biochemist; Research Fellow, CIT 1935-41; CIT Rocket Project, 1941-45; Executive Director, Office of Industrial Associates, CIT 1963-5; Naval Ordinance Test Station, 1945-54, 1964-69. Ellis is most famous for his work at CIT on bacteriophage, 1936-39. The collection includes correspondence, Ellis’s master’s and Ph.D. theses, bacteriophage reseach notes, reprints, and materials relating to the history of NOTS.
