Reproductions of material at the University of Chicago. Association founded late 1945 as response to growing controversy over uses of atomic energy. Membership open to scientists, grad students & technicians in Pasadena area and was composed mainly of CIT staff and a few grad students. The papers are deposited at the University of Chicago and contain press releases, statements and correspondence, ca 1945-1946.
