Prutenicae Tabulae Coelestium Motuum
Fourth edition of Reinhold's famous and influential Prutenic Tables, which were the first tables based on the Copernican system and were supplanted only by the Rudolphine Tables of Kepler. First published in 1551 in Tubingen, they rapidly became the basic astronomical tables in use and induced the astronomical world to recognize the merits of the Copernican system.
Fine and crisp copy from the ducal library of Loewenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg in Kleinheubach, with its oval stamp on title and bookplate.
