Catalog of the Sidney M. Edelstein Collection of the History of Chemistry, Dyeing and Technology
The Sidney M. Edelstein collection is one of the few dedicated to the history of chemistry and the largest on chemical dyeing. The collection was donated by its creator to the Jewish National and Hebrew University Library in Jerusalem in 1976.
Sidney Edelstein was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and did his graduate work in chemistry at MIT, after which he became a successful industrial chemist.
