Film of a conference session talk given by Robert L. Sinsheimer at Caltech's 75th anniversary conference, October 26, 1966. The conference proceedings were later published under the title "Scientific Progress and Human Values" (1967). A second copy of the same footage is labeled "The End of the Beginning."
The session is introduced by Cecil Brown, KCET Los Angeles, and moderated by Prof. James Bonner. Other session speakers not recorded here are Neal Miller, Rockefeller University; and Robert Morison, Cornell.
