Lord Albert Edward Harry Mayer Archibald Primrose Dalmeny, 6th Earl of Roseberry, born 1882 in London, was educated at Eton and played cricket for Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, and Surrey, where he captained. His other interests were racing, racquets, and Baccarat. He joined the Grenadier Guards and distinguished himself as a soldier. His father served as the British Liberal Prime Minister from 1894-1895.
