Small interferometer used by William V. Houston in Bridge Laboratory in work described in Astro. J. 64 (1926):81ff (see file). With Bridge Lab inventory #8819 and #8863 (attached lenses). According to documentation, this is a Fabry-Perot interferometer constructed by Julius Pearson, instrument maker for Caltech. No maker’s marks on the instrument. Donated by Ward Whaling from a closet in Sloan Laboratory.
