Caltech Course Lecture Notes by Harold Johnston
Collection includes lecture notes from courses 1941-1942 and 1945-1947 by Linus Pauling, Don Yost, Roscoe Dickinson and Richard Tolman. Harold Johnston received his PhD in chemistry at Caltech in 1948. See also: Engineering and Science 67/3 (2004) about Johnston's war work in chemical warfare research. Johnston taught at Stanford until 1956, then moved to Berkeley for the rest of his academic career.
